Hello All, i dont have alot of experience but here it goes

I have a olds 455 without any accessorie brackets, and i dont want to buy the 2k surpentine system. I heard the oldsmobile 350 accessories swap over to the oldsmobile 455 is that true?

Thank you for any info

Most Olds engine brackets interchange, the ones that don’t are easily modified to works. The only difference between small and big block engines is the added deck height. For example, the R4. A/c compressor commonly used on the G and later model B bodies have one bracket the bolts to the timing cover, the other to the head. Since the big block heads are farther from the crank centerline, the mounting tabs need some extensions welded on so the front/rear brackets line up. The small block power steering pump should work fine, the alternator brackets may need some minor work. Good luck!

Yes, the 260 through 403 use the exact same brackets.
