1988 Cadillac Brougham d'elegance - power steering fluid

Hi all,

Wondering if ATF 3 would be suitable as power steering fluid. I just checked the fluid and it turned black.

Black means it's burned. You need to drain and flush the system at the very least. You didn't mention mileage or any issues, such as noise or steering problems. May have a bad pump or steering gear.

Mileage was 70K miles and no problem at all. I am going to drain it and fill. But wondering what is the appropriate fluid for it
