Seat Belt

Has anyone else have a problem with a 78 Oldsmobile cutlass the seat belt it’s hard to get the belt
to where I need it and then it fricking chokes me any idea besides not wearing it

I believe the mechanism can be cleaned and lubed. It will be located in the door pillar behind the molding.

Thanks I got some Blaster Silicon spray and Sprayed the whole belt worked great
