    What ever happened to...

One of those people that just bolted stuff on and never listened to the experienced guys. It's probably LS'd by now.

Got my 72 Supreme from its Slumber.

So here it is. My neglected 1972 Supreme. I bought this in 2003 or 2004 in Fayetteville, NC and drove it until it started raining inside the car and the front A arm bushings went bad. I parked it in 2007 thinking I would just amass parts needed to get it all right and I had a pretty good head...

    Bad boy gas SBO

Until Olds part prices come out of the clouds, guys will still be tempted to go off brand. While I applaud the engineering and dedication to making Olds go fast parts, I have a hard time shelling out for a $700 set of pistons for a car that will rarely see track time, yet have miles of smiles...

Ever sell something you wish you didn't sell and cheap none the less

I had a pair of authentic W-30 aluminum intake manifolds, I think I let them go for $1200 for the pair. Could had held out for $1200 EACH these days. Oh well.

    455

I originally was going to use a very low mileage TQ20 cam that came out of the motor. It only had 1000 or so miles on it before it developed a knock and the guy pulled it to replace it with one of my built shortblocks. Long story short the parts were already bought and ended up changing the...

    Oldsmobile Aftermarket Vendor links

I'm going to start a list of websites that carry our Oldsmobile parts. I am not going to get into the rate and review or customer service aspect of each vendor. As always its buyer beware, and Oldspower.com will not be responsible for transactions with aftermarket vendors (or other sellers for...

    Price Cops

This is a relentless battle on the FB groups as well. If there is a keyboard, there is a price cop. Now SOME things are way out of line and need to be put in check. $3000 for a bare DX block simply isn't market value and you HAVE to ask if they fat fingered an extra zero in there. :)
