I am use to Chevy engine with 10000's of different choices for just about everything you can imagine.

I am looking for a set of valve cover gaskets.

I picked up a set of Fel-Pros but I came across Mr Gasket 5875 ultra steel

I have studs so I am not worried about the thickness

Anyone try these or heard anything about them?

Thanks

Felpros or any cork with a super thin layer of grey RTV snug bolts and not ever had an issue. What is the Ultra Seal material?

It says steel reinforced but some of the reviews say they are not

"high-density cork-and-rubber gasket material "

I believe theye are similar to the Fel-Pro's I picked up

I have those ultra seals. I 100% recommend them. They do not leak, no rtv on them, and I've had the one off nearly a dozen time and reused it.

I currently have the Rocket Racing rubber valve cover gaskets. Thicker than the Felpro and the rigid carrier is nice.
