Hello from Sweden, i havet a Oldsmobile f-85 cutlass 1970. ( Exuse THE bad English)
Im going to rebuild the engine soon, im going for about 400hp, ( cam, intake, carb headers, porting heads,) is that posible or is it better just going for a 455?

Do annyone know what rear ens is in the car?
Its a 350, 3speed aouto.

Probably a 2.56 or 2.78 rear gear ratio factory. Yes, it is very possible but what is your budget? Cutlassefi, Mark Remmel worked with Mahle to bring a 10cc dish 4032 forged piston with a 1mm ring pack available in hone to fit 4.065" to 4.155" oversize. With your stock heads, they will give low to mid 9 to 1 compression. He worked Molnar and they made a direct fit connecting rod. Scat also came out with a direct fit rod as well. Edelbrock is coming out with a new 68cc aluminum head that allows a mechanical fuel pump, Cutlassefi worked with them as well, better, smaller chamber and flow numbers. He also brought a 4" stroke 5140 billet steel stroker crank to the market. He offers complete rotating assemblies for around $2500 US and will make your 350 over 420 ci. In the mildest form, the stroker motors have made 400+ hp and 500+ ft/lbs of torque. His email is [email protected].

And it got a hydramatic 3speed auto. Where can i get an turque conv for it? I would like at least 2500 stall?

Contact Mark Remmel through email, he probably has the best price for those pistons. The Hughes 2500 BOP converter in this link below is a good converter. There is also a heavy duty sprag version as well.

Hello Arnold, Do you have an update on your Rocket 350 build? Did you keep your stock crankshaft or did you go with a stroker crankshaft. Please provide us with an update on what parts you used and what kind of results you were able to achieve. Thank you!
