Ok Olds peoples anyone use the FelPro valley pan???

Is this correct for the drivers side exhaust crossover?

The pan does have a double "sealing ridge" FEL-PRO MS96027

So I am assuming this pan fits a bunch of different heads/intake ports

Just compared the 2 valley pans

The differences are the water ports not the crossover

That makes sense, the 2711 must match the early non EGR crossover ports. Pretty positive that crossover is taller on the later heads. How are the water ports different?

The crossover ports are identical

The way they cut or trimmed the water ports on the valley pan are different

All of the ports on the early one are bigger and the crossover has added material on the driver's side. It would seal better on early heads. What # head are you using? Actually, I would use the MS99471, which is two individual pieces for the port area. On our old Stock Eliminator W-31 engines we would cut the "turkey pan" part of the gasket out and use separate gaskets against each head to get it to fit better with heads that were cut 0.080".

You have an early 96009 and a 96027 gasket and the ports are the same? I am sure another member with filled crossover ports showed how the 96027 stuck way above the port on early heads. I have a 4A, 8 and 6 heads. Once I get my Dakota together and out of the way, I can measure and take pics.

Yes, you have the correct gasket.
