Hi everyone,

I am trying to do an interior restore/replace on a budget. My interior is very rough I’ll attach pics. Any help would be awesome. I would like to try and switch the color to a grey in order to mesh with the blue paint job on my Cutlass.

Make sure you use a good degreaser when painting the dash. I would look for more modern seats that will fit in your 80. The wrecker will be your friend. Measure and hit the yard.

OK does this type of stuff actually do a decent job? Every "Fabric paint" I've ever seen just leaves a crusty crumbly mess that eventually wrecks the fabric and flakes off all over the place. Unless its an actual dye that soaks into the fabric?....

The trick when painting any fabric is to just dust it on.

If you actually spray it it will build up and clump.

If you dust it on you can actually use any type of spray paint.

I painted the cloth/rug rear deck in my Cutlass with rattle can came out great.

I have a pic or two on my home pc. I'll post it when I get home
