You need a spec page. Torque specs, measurements, drawings and other factory data. Similar to the old FAQ, but.. accurate. I know a guy or three that might could provide that stuff.

Then it would be like trying to find info on Facebook with the same question regurgitated in the groups weekly. Like "which cam?".My suggestion; less categories. Just have 'General Tech' used for ALL tech stuff. Let's face it, most people will gravitate towards the most activity and generally ignore others.

Hence the need for catagories. "General Tech". No one (will) searches for anything anyway. "It's too hard". So it turns into a free for all, with no control and mostly bad information. At least relegate the stuff to catagories in an effort to keep it straight. Even the terrible FAQ at 442.com (which is also currently undergoing a complete overhaul) had somewhat searchable catagories. And well of this forum doesn't take off, one tech catagory MAY work. But if it actually takes hold again? Well that depends on the masses. There is a struggle ahead for many reasons.I'm not understanding what you mean by this. One general tech category might be unwieldly when you have tons of traffic but it's actually better when you have little traffic.
