I have a mishmash 442 wannabe. I'm told it began life as a Cutlass supreme but has a 455 in it and the 442 spoiler and paint. I'm wanting to install positive to handle the 455 but what I've been quoted is waaaay pricey. Would appreciate any suggestions on where to look for a suitable unit.

What year car? The Type O 8.5" 12 bolt cover with 10 bolt ring gear with bolt in axles is expensive to buy parts for.
