Well, I want to go TH350C in 70S, mainly because it puts my highway rpm at 2100 rpm at 60 mph, about perfect. Guess who had a 2500 stall he sold for $5 plus shipping, ME! And I forgot I even sold it! With our dollar, I am looking at $500 CAD to ship one to get a similar stall. I can get a used TH350C locally used with a warranty. My current one needs pulled, it won't lock up no matter what I do. Consider this a Festivus Forum an air your own grievances. Man I am mad at myself for that one.

I used to sell a lot of parts online and at two or three swap meets each year. Not so much anymore. It’s a big job sorting through all the parts and figuring out which one to keep. Sometimes you sell stuff that you didn’t really want to let go

Absolutely, that TH350C converter was a good example, flashed at 2500 rpm, perfect for what I want:(.

Isold an original oai aircleaner assm. for $25. back in the 80's. Didnt think I would use it, and surely didnt see the value jumping as high as they have. I bought the hood and air cleaner for 300.

Sold an original 69 H/O intake for $300 once...…..worth more like $2300 today. But I did buy a complete 69 H/O engine/transmission with the air cleaner and a 71/72 ram air hood for less than $800. So I'm thinking it all worked out. Then I GAVE away a 70 W-30 hardtop trunklid. It had no insulation in it on purpose. I should have kept that thing.

I've probably done many more things I probably shouldn't have over the years when it comes to cars. I know I've probably paid too much for something and sold stuff for way to little. I think it all works out in the end, though.

Can't think off hand anything I sold I wish I hadn't but I know there's plenty of things I bought I wish I hadn't...

You have the worst luck, I have even seen on products being way off, what they were supposed to be.
