Hi All,

I am happy to see the old forum' come back rather than Facebook - FB is good but can be hard to find threads after a short while (days) on a busy page.

I have a 77 Cutlass Supreme Brougham, 54k miles all original. I am building up another engine for it to early 70's specifications - 9.1 compression, larger valves, alloy intake, better exhaust manifolds etc. It will look like a stock motor when done, and I will keep old engine which is ok still, just leaking oil everywhere.

Engine builder destroyed a head by boring to far in to install stainless seats - lucky had a backup plan otherwise don't know where I would have sourced one easily here.

What have I done since I got it back in 2018? Changed tyres from the originals, heaps of tread but 40 years old. Fixed exhaust manifold leak, got air-con working again, rebuilt carb with Cliff Ruggles parts, book and help and replaced rear bumper fillers - painted myself but not a perfect colour match.
